Not your average game night.

Our story

It all started at a pregame in college. Tiamarie found herself playing a card game that was supposed to be fun… but nobody wanted to finish. Cards were skipped, laughter faded, and the game felt like a chore. That moment sparked an idea: what if there was a card game made by young adults, for young adults, one where every card was interesting, entertaining, and unpredictable?

Out of that frustration, The Wasted Deck was born. Tiamarie designed the game herself, but friends and family helped shape it into the lively, engaging experience it is today. Every card is crafted to create new stories, hilarious moments, and unforgettable memories; whether you’re at a bar, pregame, tailgate, or just hanging out at home.

The name is a little playful too. “Most people think ‘wasted’ means alcohol, but this game is just as fun sober,” Tiamarie laughs. “It’s really a joke about wasted cards: there are none in this deck. Every card is meant to keep the energy high and the laughs going.”

At its core, The Wasted Deck is about connection, creativity, and fun. It’s the game that turns ordinary nights into stories you’ll talk about for weeks, the kind of chaos that brings friends together and keeps the night unforgettable.

Created with care

Every card in The Wasted Deck was handcrafted by our founder, then tested, refined, and approved by the people who know her best. What started as a list of over 300 original cards was narrowed down to the 101 best, funniest, and most engaging prompts, the ones that consistently made friends laugh, share stories, and stay hooked.

This deck wasn’t rushed or thrown together. It was carefully built through real gameplay, honest feedback, and countless nights of testing. The result? A game full of cards that actually deserve to be played; no fillers, no boring prompts, and zero “wasted” cards.
